Aster laevis (Smooth Blue Aster) 1.5-3ft; very attractive blue flowers in late summer early fall.

**The flowers in the photo look very light; however, they are really blue-purple and very pretty. Picture taken on a very sunny day.

Well-packaged plants arrived looking great and are growing well. Can't wait for them to bloom!

Smooth Blue Aster
The plant arrived promptly and in good condition. After a bit of research (on Craig Huegel's blog) I learned that the current scientific name for this Florida native is Symphyotrichum laeve, and that it is difficult to find in native nurseries. Since I was especially looking for asters to add to my native pollinator garden, I was VERY happy to find it at Mail Order Natives!
