Emily was able to reschedule my delivery due to a last minute, unexpected need of mine to be out of town. This alone saved the plants. The plants arrived a week later as requested in excellent condition...as usual. Very healthy root systems and abundant foliage. Got plants in the ground ahead of Ophelia. So they got a healthy watering, but I also have them in a spot with excellent drainage. I love the packaging. Not only are the plants secure on delivery, but I am able to use all of it except the tape which gets tossed: cardboard for over an expanse of ground where I am trying to rid of some periwinkle, shredded newspaper into compost and plastic bags as gloves for poison ivy removal or for weeds that should not go into compost. Love it!

The New Jersey Tea plant arrived looking healthy as did the other plants I received in the order. They were packed very well so there was no damage. I had requested a special ship date and I had added another plant on after I had placed the original order and both of these requests were honored perfectly. OK so I’ve already killed off 2 New Jersey Teas, but I wanted to grow it since it’s the Virginia Wildflower of the year. This specimen is about twice the size of the other two I tried, and quite robust. Cross your fingers for me!

Arrived in great shape. Looked a little droopy first day or two after being planted but perked up and are looking good now! They've been in the ground about a week, the deer haven't touched them yet.

The three plants I ordered arrived well packed, with moist soil and healthy green leaves--very good condition. I would only suggest that a page of care and planting instructions might be placed on top of the contents to ensure the plants are well cared for (e.g. kept in the shade) before planting.
