Helianthus debilis Dune Sunflower 1 gallon
Dune Sunflower is a perennial/re-seeding annual that can really take the heat! One plant can cover a 5ft circle. This plant has great color and shape. It is low-growing, could really be considered a groundcover. Bright yellow flowers with dark brown centers will really "pop" and brighten up a sunny spot in the landscape.
Zone 9 & 10 grows well in any zone, but must be treated as an annual north of Zone 9

Happy with plants
The plants arrived in great condition - still flowering. Now we are waiting to see how they do but I have high expectations.

Love my dune sunflowers!
After preparing a garden bed for dune sunflowers, I could not find any plants available at a number of garden stores. Going online I found them through Mail Order Natives and ordered three plants. They arrived within four or five days. They were well-packed and protected. I planted them the next day and they are thriving! I will definitely order from this site again.

Nice, helpful, easy to order and will use them again. Would like to visit this nursery in person someday. Plants are packaged really well and shipped quickly. Easy to do business with and keep you informed of transaction. Dune sunflowers use to be easy to find, not so for the last 2 years but found them here! War Eagle.

Beautiful, tough native for demanding landscapes
As a newbie to coastal Florida landscaping, I walked all over Anna Maria to observe successful plants in dry, sandy, salty conditions. Dune sunflowers were seen thriving and blooming in new and old landscapes, including, of course, on the dunes. Mine arrived in 2 days from Mail Order Natives, carefully packaged and so vigorous I divided one of them into two plants. They survived planting with no apparent shock and now I'm waiting for the blooms.
