Passiflora incarnata (Passion Vine) deciduous; semi-woody; blue-lavendar flowers bloom late spring-early fall; great butterfly nectar plant as well as larval plant for Gulf Frittilary butterfly. Full sun; Pesticide Free
SIZE: 1 gallon
I bought 3 one gallon pots. All arrived in good condition. Professionally packaged.
I can't say enough good things about the product I received and the obvious care taken in preparing it for shipment. I received a vine approximately 2" long with beautiful blooms already showing. The packaging was great--not the slightest damage. I'm also thrilled with the price. This was a much, much more mature plant than I've received for a higher price for smaller plants from other vendors. I'm stunned by how well this order went and would not hesitate to recommend Mail Order Natives to anyone who asked.
These plants were in such perfect condition when they arrived I could scarce believe it. Neither of them had even a single wilted leaf. I just don't know how you did it but I'm very happy with the vines. They have continued to be sturdy and healthy, climbing up my back fence. Thank you.
Arrived beat up a bit hit has responded well fit into ground immediately
My healthy plants came in little plastic bags. The root ball and leaves were all green and healthy. Half had a single main stem and half had two. I planted them and they immediately sent their little grabber stems up my trellis and began growing, one even sprouted one those beautiful flowers. They have been growing a few weeks now and are 100% happy. This mail order is a real life saver because the local nurseries don't carry most of the butterfly host plants because they don't like having the caterpillars eating their products.
I ordered 2 of these plants. They arrived quickly and were packaged perfectly. Having ordered from Mail Order Natives before, I felt confident buying the vines very early spring just as they were coming out of dormancy. They both started growing nicely as soon as I got them in the ground and are healthy! Will order more plants again!
I ordered and received three vines, not one as shown above. One was in excellent condition and already sprouting, the second looked like it would get going shortly. The third was an anemic looing squiggle on some small roots. I know these are late starters so hopefully the third will get going. Packaging was fine.
I am very pleased with the Maypop (passiflora incarnata) I recieved. The plants were much larger and healthier than expected and were so well packed that I have decided to make Mail Order Natives my go to for hard to find indigenous plants
Large plant at an excellent price. Only planted them a few weeks ago but I don't expect any problems with them.
Very impressed with the size and condition of the plants (I'd ordered three) especially for the price. It was obvious that they were lovingly boxed and protected and the dirt smudges on the invoice added an accidentally quaint touch. Done with searching the racks at Lowe's; will order again soon!
