Quercus durandii (Durand Oak) apprx 80ft; uncommon white oak that thrives on sites rich in lime. The tree was names by Elias Magloire Durand, a pharmacist and botanist  from Philadelphia (1794-1873). During Durand's time, wood from the tree was used to make spools, wagon hubs, pins for cotton gins, and baskets.
