    Asclepias perennis (aquatic milkweed)

My perennis plant arrived quickly and well packaged. It looked a bit sad and weary, but 2 days after planting, it was perking up. One week later, the buds are open and there is an abundance of new growth. I'm very pleased with my purchase!

I can always use another milkweed in my garden and these plants arrived in very good shape and good sized. Everyone should plant milkweed and I am glad Mail Order Natives always has a good supply.

    Asclepias perennis

The plants are strong and healthy and after planting seem to be thriving. They appear to be about ready to flower. For those of us who order plants frequently the way you packed them was wonderful -- no styrofoam peanuts, no staples, and very little debris to dispose of. Thank you!

White Swamp Milkweed is aFirst for Me

Posted by Unknown on Mar 13th 2017

All three of my plants arrived in excellent condition. I am looking forward to seeing how my White Swamp Milkweed does in my area of coastal NC. I haven't had much success with the Asclepias tuberosa as it bloomed only once.

Great plant for your butterfly garden

This is so hard to find I was delighted to acquire one and will order more. Many of the natives I like are drought tolerant and I needed one that could take some watering as it's by the sprinkler. I planted it right away and as luck would have it we've had a rainy week but it's doing great and is already blooming. Evidently it can take the water. I am planting for butterflies and bees and want good natives - and neonicitonoid free for the bees. Very happy with it and will order more when it is available. I live in NW Florida panhandle.

My order was shipped promptly, the plants were carefully packaged with a strong root system and healthy plants. I planted them the day they arrived and they are both doing well. I plan to be a repeat customer.
