Love this shrub. It is so useful for many situations as well as being fuss free and deer proof. They have never bothered any of mine. Good for dry shade once estabiished.

They arrived in great shape, well protected in their packaging. I am a repeat customer and will keep buying from mailordernatives, a seller that I can trust! The plants have healthy root systems and do great once in the ground. Also, planting these little shrubs is easy, as I don't have to deal with rootbound issues. Thank you!

    Florida Anise

Posted by Robert on Jun 23rd 2018

The Florida Anise (Illicium Floridanum) plants arrived well-packed and healthy. I let them acclimatize on my back porch, planted them the next day, and they are holding up well, showing healthy growth after a couple of weeks. These do better in partial shade. I had left one out in the full Florida sun for 5 hours before planting, and it looked a little wilted. But after I planted it in the partial shade, it has always looked healthy and growing.
