I placed an order in June. All plants arrived big and healthy. Very impressed with size and quality. Will be ordering again in the fall. Thanks so much!

    Lindera benzoin

Arrived in good condition with leaves that have stayed for several weeks now. I mail ordered little shrubs from 7 businesses this year and this order was one of the top two for packing.

    spice bush

Arrived early in March. The plants appear to be in good condition. They were packed well with shredded paper instead of foam or plastic pads and tied with a plastic bag to hold the dirt. This method used little plastic, good to environment.

Great size & care with shipping

Posted by Unknown on Oct 17th 2016

I ordered three Spicebush. The plants were good size, the roots looked well formed, and the packaging was careful and protected them well in shipping. Only drawback was the leaf quality was a little less than I expected; however, this time of year, what isn't a little worn and weary looking. It's not enough for me to down-grade the rating, particularly since there were bountiful leaves on each plant.

    Poor leaf condition

Posted by Renee Sundrud on Oct 5th 2016

The leaves of the spicebush plant looked very unhealthy when the plant arrived. I sprayed it with a fungicide before planting it. It has only been in the ground for a week, so I don't know how it will do longterm.

    healthy shrub

The shrub seemed healthy and viable. It is doing fine so far. This native shrub is hard to find, and I am looking forward to watching it grow.

    The spicebush swallowtails approve. :)

Posted by Diane Cassaro on Sep 13th 2015

I wanted to get some spicebushes so the many spicebush swallowtails that are hanging around in my backyard this year would have a reason to settle in. I was pleased at the price offered by Mail Order Natives and now that the plants are here, the service and quality have also impressed. Plants were pretty-healthy, arrived promptly and in great condition, and seem to be doing well now that they're in the ground. I will definitely be ordering more plants from Mail Order Natives....thank you!
