The plant balls were contained in a plastic bag and tightly fastened to secure the moist soil around the roots. They were packed among shredded paper to protect the leaves from damage. In fact I had to leave them packaged in a cold garage for several days before I could attend to them. They still looked great!
Mail Order Natives is surely one of the best mail order nurseries in the country. Plants are large and healthy and establish well in the landscape. Service, packing and prices are exemplary. One is not gouged on shipping costs either. Other nurseries should take notes from MON.

BEAUTIFUL & HEALTHY! I received three 1-gal and one 3-gal needle palms in August. After planting 5-6 weeks ago, they are putting on new growth. I plan to order several more needle palms when they become available. You can't go wrong with Mail Order Natives!

I was very impressed with the value. What a deal! I bought three 1 gallon and thrree 3 gallon plants. What a great price! They arrived quickly. They were packed nicely. I was very happy with their size and condition on arrival. I can't wait until it warms up a bit over here in Zone 5b so I can get outside and plant them. Right now they are potted and doing well inside after several weeks.
