Rhododendrons - Native Azaleas & Cultivars

Here are some tips for growing happy healthy Azaleas:
- Plant in filtered shade (about 50% shade/50% sun) in a well drained area. They do not like full sun but need enough to bloom properly.
- Amend soil with organic matter/mulch.
- Keep moist, especially the first year.
- Fertilize with acid forming Azalea/Camellia fertilizer that can be found at most garden centers.
