Rhododendrons - Native Azaleas

Need to dress up a shady spot? Native Rhododendrons will certainly fit the bill. Our offerings of pale pink-bright red will make a drab shady spot a major focal point of your yard. Many color selections are available!

Here are some tips for growing happy healthy Native Azaleas:

  • Plant in filtered shade (about 50% shade/50% sun) in a well drained area. They do not like full sun but need enough to bloom properly.
  • Amend soil with organic matter/mulch.
  • Keep moist, especially the first year.
  • Fertilize with acid forming Azalea/Camellia fertilizer that can be found at most garden centers.
