Description

Conradina canescens (False/Beach Rosemary) native to the western Panhandle of Florida; this woody shrub thrives on sandy soils and on beach dunes.  Pink flowers attract butterflies and bees early summer through fall. Silver foliage is especially attractive. Plants usually live about 3 years.

    I have wanted to try false rosemary for a while. Mail Order Natives had the plant at a reasonable price. It arrived well packaged and looked great. I am looking forward to some pretty blooms in my hot, dry garden.

    This was the second conradina I ordered from the company. This one did not arrive in as good a condition since several branches fell off as I unwrapped it. However, it seems to be making a good comeback now in the garden. This is a somewhat delicate plant. The first specimen I ordered arrived in great condition.

    This plant not only arrived quickly, it was loaded with blossoms and continues to do well in my garden. I am quite impressed with this mail order service!
