Halesia carolina Carolina Silverbell is a beautiful landscape tree. It reaches 30-40 feet in height and has a shrubby habit reaching 20-35 feet wide. It produces beautiful white blooms in April that are very showy. Deciduous. Full sun to partial shade is best and it appreciates well drained rich organic soil that is acidic. 

Found native in understory areas along the southern Appalachian Mountains in southeastern US.
