Description

Myrica heterophylla - Swamp Bayberry 

Evergreen shrub that reaches 6-8 feet in height and spread. Does well in sandy acidic soils with moisture in sun or partial shade. 

Native to the southeastern US. Makes for a nice ornamental, similar to common waxmyrtle but with larger leaves. Produces small dark fruit. 

Zones 6-8.

    Plants arrived healthy and moist. My only recommendation would be to add sun needs and other data to website.

    This is my second order from MON and im a very happy camper. My swamp bayberry plants arrived in great condition, they are healthy and have lots of growth. MON has lots of really hard to find plant species (such as myrica/morella) and the prices are absolutely unbeatable. This nursery is a secret gem!

    Well packaged with no shipping damage. They look great. I love that this nursery allows you to choose a shipping date, and they have plants that are hard to find elsewhere.
