Description

Phlox amoena (Hairy Phlox)up to 1ft tall; found in dry woods, hillsides, and sandy areas. The pink-magenta spring blooms are striking. Occurs from Kentucky south and west to Mississippi and south and east to Florida.

    I put in 3 of these next to my garage door and they have almost tripled in size! Long blooming and evergreen. They get some morning sun and some afternoon indirect sun.

    The plants arrived with large healthy roots and foliage, ready to bloom. They were well packed and I can recycle the newspapers they were wrapped in in my compost. I was very pleased!

    Great packaging and plant. Good size; was very root bound and had some transplant shock after I had to untangle the knotted roots. Great size and well worth the hassle. Good company, great customer service during 2020 pandemic.
