Another nice specimen that arrived healthy, with a lot of lower growth. I put it out at the edge of the woods, and a pesky deer sampled the very top of the leaves and trunk. They did the same thing to my Hawthorn about three years ago. It got clipped off right at the top of the bamboo stake. There's a nice enclosure protecting it now, and the deer can't get to it.
