sassafras trees
Packing sturdy. One tree had green leaves, the other had leaves that were totally brown and shriveled . tree with brown leaves does have buds that appear to be green so I hope it lives

Sassafras tree
The roots were pot bound requiring much trimming and disentangling. Due to severe root trim, am watering it lightly twice a day. Better to do it now than have it die in 5 years from root girdling.

Sassafras
My two sassafras trees came in wonderful condition, very big for mail order plants, with a big root system. I planted them in very well drained soil, a must for sassafras, so I feel sure they'll thrive, they certainly look good now. Mail Order Natives is THE best!

5 stars
I ordered a bunch of the host plants, and they came really fast! I was surprised that they came so healthy and robust! I definitely wasn't expecting to see multiple branches on these smaller trees! I definitely will order again in the spring! I love that this nursery has so much to offer!
