Stewartia malocodendron (Silky Camelia) large shrub 10-15ft tall, striking white flowers with purple centers line the stems of the shrub in July/August. This is certainly worthy of a place in the landscape. However, sometimes great beauty is paired with fickleness!! This species is especially susceptible to root rot..SO, plant in partial shade on a well-drained sight that has evenly distributed moisture.

Really excited you all are growing this. A great native plant that's hard to find. We're pumped to finally have one to grow at the property! (The shipping was packed quite nicely too)

Good, well-rooted plants arrived in excellent shape. I'm thankful they propagate this native. And that they are responsive to questions, etc.

I've purchased from this nursery before and thought the plants couldn't get any better. I was wrong. If perfect can be made more perfect, that's what they've somehow done at Mail Order Natives. If you're looking for an unusual plant, they may have it. If it's something you can find elsewhere, you won't find a better specimen than here. Every aspect of the business, from communication and shipping to the plants themselves, is exceptional. Thanks. I'll definitely be ordering more!
