'Vernon' was introduced by the University of Georgia and rivals the old time favorite 'Climax' as far as berry yield.  'Vernon' is a late bloomer, which helps with late spring freeze problems.  It  produces early bearing  large tasty fruit. Chill hours required 450. Plant 'Alapaha' for pollination.  Zones 6-9

    This was my first order from Mail Order Natives. I ordered two blueberry bushes. They looked very healthy upon arrival and still do. The packaging job was excellent. I had a question and the owner got back to me promptly and was very helpful. I asked for a specific ship date and the owner honored my request. There were no problems. I am VERY impressed and look forward to ordering more from Mail Order Natives in the future.

    When the box arrived, I was expecting little plants with a few leaves and was pleasantly surprised by the 2 foot + tall plants with leaves and berries already ripening. Really a great value!
