Solidago speciosa Showy Goldenrod has gorgeous yellow blooms from late summer to early fall that the pollinators love! It is one of the showiest goldenrod species, which of course, is how it got its name. On average it reaches about 5 feet tall when in bloom. It has a clump forming habit which is why some people prefer this over other more aggressive spreading goldenrods. Plant in full sun to partial shade in well drained soil. It can adapt to sandy soils and be drought tolerant once it is well established.
