Viola blanda Sweet White Violet or Woodland White Violet is a white blooming violet that forms beautiful groundcovers by producing runners. It has adorable heart shaped leaves and its showy fragrant blooms appear April - May. It is usually about 4-6 inches tall. They attract butterflies and are said to be deer tolerant. Found native in eastern US in moist shady wooded areas. Low maintenance. Prefers medium to wet soil.
